We are looking for a temporarily \/ freelance front-end developer for our multi-national client to join the project building Marketing Seductions.

<\/span>Start date: ASAP
<\/span>Duration: till 31-12-2022 with option to extend (32-40 hours)
<\/span>Location: Hybrid \/ 1-2 days in the office in Amsterdam or Antwerp
<\/span>Language: Dutch speaking and English required

<\/p>

Context:
The marketing department works together with Seduction Squad, the creators and <\/span>developers of Temptation.
<\/span>Temptation is a software suite that comprises different services and modules. These are used on  <\/span>Media websites and mobile apps (news brands and magazine brands).
<\/span>Temptation hosts the business logic that decides what a user will see from a marketing point <\/span>of view. Based on data & context, the business rules steer the marketing messages (e.g. <\/span>stimulate a user to log in or subscribe to a newsletter). The rules also determine whether a <\/span><\/span>reader has access to specific content, or not. 

<\/span>Non-subscribers can read a limited number of articles, else, see a content-blocking paywall. <\/span>This paygate proposes an attractive and personalised subscription offer.
<\/span>You\u2019ll be working intensively with Seduction Squad, on a daily basis. <\/span>You will work on <\/span>roadmap items and smaller operational requests raised by different stakeholders within the <\/span>marketing department. The main KPI\u2019s are to get users logged in or convert them to <\/span>paying subscribers.

<\/span>You\u2019ll be working with Dutch colleagues in Amsterdam and Belgian colleagues in Antwerp.<\/span><\/p>

Function<\/h4>\n

In short:<\/strong><\/em>
<\/span>– Looking for a code guru; Looking for a code monkey but you\u2019re encouraged to think <\/span>outside of the box \ud83d\ude09
<\/span>– On a regular basis at the office in Amsterdam or Antwerp. <\/span>(approx 2 days\/week)
<\/span>– 32 \/ 36 \/ 40 hours a week

<\/span>Job description:<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span>– Participate in optimisation process for paywalls, loginwalls and other marketing <\/span>Positions.
<\/span>– Create \/ adjust paywalls, loginwalls and other marketing positions for our Belgian and <\/span>Dutch brands.
<\/span>– Translate ux- and visual designs into HTML templates.
<\/span>– Set up business logic and a\/b-tests to business rules in an internal Editor tool (f.e.: <\/span>which users sees what, when and where)<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\r\n

Requirements<\/h4>\n

<\/p>

Skills:
<\/span>Must have knowledge<\/strong>: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (Vanilla \u2013 Modular \u2013 Unit tests), <\/span>Sass, Progressive enhancement, Mobile First and Browser compatibility issues, Git
<\/span>Nice to have knowledge<\/strong>: Gulp or other build tools, SMACSS, BEM, ESLint, scss-lint <\/span>and automated end-to-end testing with for example Cypress.
<\/span>
– Agile mindset and experience with Scrum or other agile methodologies
<\/span>– Curious and open-minded
<\/span>– Critical; always looking for the \u2018why\u2019 of things
